Must visit: Sequoia National Park in California

I never knew that trees could be so beautiful. And so incredibly impressive! Especially when they are ridiculously large and covered in fresh snow. Because a lot of white flakes fall down on the big trees in Sequoia National Park in winter. We decided to visit the park only three days before we drove up there, which is a 5,5 hours drive down south from San Francisco. Very random and spontaneous, but one of the best decisions ever. We rented a big four-wheel drive (which is required in winter) as well as a nice hotel room in the park’s top lodge. This is the one place to stay that reflects where the park stands for, the Waksuchi lodge. When I look at the pictures I still have the feeling that it is not real. The park is famous for its giant sequoia trees, including the General Sherman tree which is the largest tree on the planet. We did a couple of amazing hikes and took many photos. What an incredible weekend and I hope that anyone of you can visit this place as well! #imobsessed
