29 Jan Report MBFWA Catwalk
Whoooo – I am still processing all the amazing collections I have seen this Fashion Week. As announced in the post last week, I went to see the F/W 2016 fashion shows of Bas Kosters, Mirte van Wijngaarden and Claes Iversen (in the outfits demonstrated in the pictures above). I could go on and on writing about my personal view of these shows, but I guess you are more interested in the pictures thereof! So scroll down and enjoy some of my favorite pieces of these fashion designers:
– Bas Kosters –
This fashion show was a true authentic party! Bas Kosters was already waiting for us when we took our seat. Sitting on a rotating pilar, in a lotus position, this “fashion rebel” was watching over his models that were rocking his new collection named Permanent State of Confusion! My favorite is the model carrying a “baguette bag”!

Mirte’s collection, Patina, is inspired on the immemorial Japanese Samurai Warriors, who are known for their personality: a man that can protect and fight for security. Mirte shows the elements of masculinity: control & self confidence. I loved this show, especially because of the bags, designed by Janiek Koppe, that completed the outfits of these fascinating men.

– Claes Iversen –
This fashion show was a true fairy tail. Claes Iversen magnificently concluded Fashion Week Amsterdam by showing his second ready to wear collection II as well as couture pieces, both inspired on Icelandic saga’s & Norwegian mythology! Which one is your favorite?
